Who’s rooking at you

We had an errand to run down by the Solent this evening so had a quick beach stop afterwards for a bit of air and found this lovely rook sitting on the car park railing. On the beach below were loads of other rooks and crows. There were a number of people eating McDonald's in their cars, parked alongside us. We had passed the McDonald's queue on the way and it seems the birds are wise to the human habit of queuing for ages then heading off for a sea view in order to eat said takeaway. Think I'd rather take my own food and go straight to the seafront, but each to their own.
