Stickleback

We went a walk slightly further afield today (6 miles!) at Musselburgh Lagoons. It felt like a holiday, it was so strange. B caught a stickleback with her hands, she loves a skiddle. We also reckon we saw an avocet on the bird reserve.

This morning I spotted a nuthatch on my woodland walk. It's the first I've seen in at least 2 years, since we had a pair visit us in our garden for a while.
