Sea Holly

Well after a long wait rain stopped play before it began and our planned tennis was cancelled. So I felt cheated all day, although I was marginally consoled by the loveliness of the wet garden.
A brief walk this afternoon yielded a few images but none that really thrilled me. I thought at least a mono was a change so here is some sea holly which is coming into bud all across the dunes. I was also sad to see the litter left behind by visitors (although not as much as nearby beaches) and the rectangluar scorch marks where peole have had disposable bbqs in the dunes, some of which had been left behind.
