Nothing That Was Either Needed or Useful!

Woo hoo....first egg from the hens today. We are not sure which one, but we think Cher as she’s the one with the reddest comb.

I had a day off work today....typically just as the weather gets colder and the rain starts, to be fair the garden and fields are desperate for it so I am not complaining. It just meant that I ended up not doing the planned gardening or going up to ride China and had a quick trip to the local garden centre and a lazy afternoon instead.

During lockdown, even with the much higher than normal supermarket bills, we had still ended up spending less than we would do in a normal month and I have been wondering why...until we walked out of the garden centre with significantly more than the compost we went in for and nothing extra that was either needed or useful.
