Shy peony

I shifted the peonies at the beginning of Spring and, given the myth that they cannot be shifted, I worried.  But it is looking good - perhaps they have fewer blooms than last year but each one will be a gem.
I ran out of excuses for the landscaping job underway.  It will take most of the summer with permanent planting planned for the Autumn.  Bedding plants will be giving the space some colour until then.  Where are those excuses when you need them?
