A Rose

Actually two roses. It's that time of year when the roses look their best and the few in our front garden are no exception.  The weather has changed.  The sight of multiple non-social distancing bodies on the south coast beaches persuaded the weather gods to send us some rain, just what the garden needed.  Unfortunately small groups of legally meeting people may have to find an alternative to the great outdoors, which isn't the much smaller indoors!

We had a nice zoom chat with Maureen and Ian this afternoon, then a cut-down family get together on zoom this evening.  In-between we donned rain macs and went for a walk to Shottery, paying a visit to the horses on the way.  On return I stopped off in the front garden to take some rose pictures.  This is one of them, complete with raindrops.
