Peeling

It was wet this morning so there was no going and lying in the grass to try and get a picture ......... so I just knelt down and took some shots of raindrops on the Lady's Mantle over here.
I also noticed that the old cherry log I use as a weight on the garden storage was peeling its bark in quite an impressive way.

There may be a bot of a problem with my lathe - it has started losing power and then kicking in again.
I took off the power/control unit and cleared it out and checked all the connections - all appears well but the problem has persisted. It may be the rheostat for the variable speed which is dying. Not sure if I will be able to get a replacement or have to get a whole new unit.
