Peony

So the rain came overnight - not that much by the look of the garden - and it left some lovely drops on the peony which is about to bloom.
It's been a lot cooler today so for the first time in ages I didn't do any gardening. Instead,  I went back to my passion for genealogy and linked another two of my DNA matches to a set of 2 x great grandparents. I then sent one of them, a gentleman in the USA, who is my 'new' third cousin once removed, the certificates I'd managed to find online,  giving him information on his paternal grandfather's ancestors that he knew nothing about.  He was overjoyed that he can share these with his own family. Good job done!
