After the rain.

The recent warm dry weather has brought on our peony rose; this is it’s first flower this summer. Most years the blousy blooms are ruined by the rain; we were doing well until the late afternoon ..... here it is, raindrops and all after a deluge. I painted a bit of fence etc earlier. That’s now under tarpaulins.

Tuesday is shopping day nowadays, my wife had an early start and was back from the supermarket for breakfast. It’s a bit disruptive, but safe.

Evening walk in the big park that we have many family associations with; it’s been too long off limits. It was very quiet when we three went. And wet by time we got home.
