Kew Gardens Elizabeth gate

Day 76 - first cycle ride with someone else since February! Revisited lots of blue plaques in London Borough of Richmond with a friend......Twickenham, Richmond, Kew and Hampton .. made a nice circular ride of about 22 miles in the sun. Kew Gardens are now open again, queues on the pavement , 2m apart, queuing to get in before 10am! This is the Elizabeth Gate facing Kew Green, now just the exit gate. The gate has a VR logo as constructed and installed in Victoria’s reign. It was renamed the Elizabeth Gate for the Queens Jubilee in 2012.

- cleaned car as have hardly driven it since end of a March...first roof of car...hoovered and then special cleaner, then to local car wash for the bodywork
- Read the gas and electricity meters
- met new caretaker to nearby block of flats
