Strippers

Florin arrived to do the grouting on the terracotta floor after the three month interregnum. Lovely to see him. We had a bit of a socially distanced catchup. My stone steps gained some builderly appreciation. Raffaelo said I was becoming their competition, which was very flattering. I said, Maybe on price but not on quality’ laughing.

I stripped some old straightish leylandii poles from two winters back to make canes for my peppers. Very satisfying. They are so light and full of natural fungicide they’ll last a while.

I got a bargain on kiwi plants. Just trying to work out what to do with them.
