Day of the triffids

This weed has been growing from just before the lockdown making it at least 70 days old. Shiv has a sniff at it every time we pass.

We headed out wrapped up against the chill but we didn’t really need the extra layers. It seems the cold snap has moved on and it turned into a beautiful day.

In other news, SA saw huge queues from early doors. All waiting to replenish their liquor cupboards. One of our suppliers made me laugh when he said the timing was perfect as his home made wine was just about ready, typical.
