Evening Visitor

Out reading quietly on the patio when I became aware of movement beneath me; and found this mouse having a snack.

Not necessarily happy about this; first of all it was near the house, secondly we are not messy eaters!  It disappeared off before I could do anything about it.  The mystery is; where did it go?
