Riot police vans

Today was my follow up visit to see my doctor. Martin took the day off to go with me.

As protests have started again in HK, coming up to the first anniversary, there were more expected today.  We saw police buses bringing in riot police.  They were all over Central and Sheung Wan.

Really sad to see these scenes again in our beloved, otherwise peaceful city.

Doctor has removed the drain, and the wound is healing well. All dressings have been removed and I'm good to go, yay!

Our church friends have been bringing meals around for us, which has been such a blessing, so we didn't have to worry about cooking when we got home, which was a bit later than expected.
