Okanagan Lake

As we ascended out of Kelowna today, we caught a glimpse of Okanagan Lake. Kelowna is one of the cities bordering the lake, and is situated beside the middle of its three basins. The lake is the largest in the area, at 135 km long and 4 - 5 km wide. Winter snow is a feature of the landscape.
