Marking time

I usually walk past the corner where these hand-prints are without really noticing them but today the rain had filled them and they were looked like they were pushing back out of the concrete. I wonder if the kids that made them come back now and then to check them out? Maybe slip their hands in to see if they still fit, or head off in search of another new pavement where they can make another mark in time?
