Afternoon out

We got a good bit of school work done this morning and the weather was amazing so MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr had an afternoon at Lauriston Castle gardens.

We biked up and had a walk around the various areas. We stopped in the Japanese peace garden for a snack, and we played scatch in the meadow.

It was busier than I've ever seen it, but still plentiful space and positively tranquil in places. Only at the main entrance and the entrance to the Japanese peace garden did we have to hold back a bit to avoid getting close to people.

It was a lovely afternoon.

We also had two ice poles each.
