Pentland Hills from Braidburn Valley Park

A very breezy morning, so it is two indoor bike rides on the trainer with a coffee break in the middle. While my family are glad I'm not being blown off my bike, apparently I am now in the way! At least my earbuds have arrived, thanks to Amazon, so I can listen to music in peace.

In the afternoon it's still a bit breezy, so it's a walk down to Morningside. Some of the charity shops have decided to close down next week due to COVID-19, so it's our last chance to visit them for a while. A bit disappointing as Oxfam doesn't have a favoured brand of coffee due to a shop stock take. And due to the closures, we won't be able to buy some when the shop is restocked. Went to Waitrose, quite a few empty shelves. No pasta or toilet paper. They don't have the coffee either, so two other fair trade coffees were selected. We visit the other charity shops that are open. The off for possibly our last coffee and cake from a café for wee while at least.
