Impromptu

An impromptu portrait of “our” blackbird, who is spending a lot of time on our front lawn, in front of our window. We are watering a small patch, which he seems to appreciate.

In return, he is in this shot giving us a bit of an impromptu song, Usually he does this from a vantage point, but he will sing (quietly) at ground level too,

The sing along this Friday is “Singing in the Rain. Let’s hope so.

NB This bird’s bald patches are clearly visible here. It gives him a mynah bird look.
