So much for ...
... social distancing.
I keep a nettle patch on my allotment, just for the ladybirds and butterflies. I have never been aware of much action them in the past, but today I noticed the nettles were alive with these guys.
I was delighted thinking they would be Tortoiseshell or Peacock Butterflies. But then I thought - what if they are Cabbage Whites? Will I be banished from the site if I am caught harbouring them!
Any ideas what species they are?
