Summertime ...

... and the living is easy ....

I love this picture as it epitomises a typical English summer. Looking out on someone you love as they are lying down, shoes kicked off, wearing a summer dress and surrounded by flowers. 

Actually TSM had a busy day in the Home Office and this was her chilling in the garden in the late afternoon sunshine. I however had a genuinely nice summers day, reading and drinking tea and dozing off when the mood took me. I read over 100 pages of my current book and I can’t remember the last time I did that. It wasn’t all idle however, as I did do a 5K walk in the evening. And then as the sun went down we sat and chatted and watched a rather lovely moonrise as the sky faded from blue into night. I’ve added it as an extra; although it isn’t full it did come out rather beautifully.

Couple of other extras of the garden as well.

I should also add that I posted my first blip nine years ago today and I haven’t missed a single day. Not bad huh?
