Croix de Javerne

Very early start this morning and we were on the summit by 9am. Stunning scenery from the Croix de Javerne.

Extras include a Yellow Alpine Pasque with the Dent du Midi in the background (nearly my main blip). The other extra is of a new born kid trying to stand for the first time. He/she was born just as we arrived back at the farm where we started.We wanted to wait to see the other twin being born but the farmer said it might be a long wait. Wonderful to see. Also bought cheese from the farm which we try to do each time we pass one of these mountain farms.
