Picking

The strawberries are doing well and the daily yield is increasing. We also noticed that the peas are podding, the sprouting broccoli is almost ready to harvest. We have been cutting lettuce for weeks. The beautiful spring has made the veg growing experiment very successful.
Another warm day but with the added benefit of a pleasant sea breeze. I was able to work outside on the desk for Miss T.
It has been so warm I had stopped working on it for a while. My workshop is in a very sheltered warm part of the garden which faces south.
It was nice to see today that all the cafes now have their tables and chairs outside, the ice cream van was back in position on the castle emplacement and Sark has opened for visitors.
