June! How did we get there?!

A full day on the accounts. By late afternoon I needed to escape and stretch my legs. I went for a walk around Orrell Water Park and took the D90 for another test. Took a few shots around the reserve but nothing special. When I returned to the car I spent some time watching the seagulls, who were obviously on flight training. They kindly kept the same flying pattern and kept coming back towards the same spot in front of me, which happened to have some lovely late afternoon light. 

253 photos of flying seagulls later ... most were out of focus but I did get about 6 I was particularly happy with. This one very kindly had a rest on the water and I was photographing it dipping its head in and spraying water when it then decided to take off! I'm pleased with the result. A few more in extras. 

On the walk I came across the sign in the extras. I took the top path as directed but I still couldn't get 2m away from myself. :-))
