Bald as a....

Had a walk around the South Inch this morning. Quite a few birds with chicks but absolutely no swans. I' don't know what has happened to them as they usually nest there and I thought this year might be the one year they would get some respite from the local kids who quite often hang about there drinking and terrorising the wildlife.
A trip to the 2 garden centres. Firstly my favourite one, Linden, which is a small family run one. I was there at 9.30 and already there was a queue of 10. Next stop Glendoick, which was quiet by comparison. The bedding plant shelves were bare and there was a sign up advising that they had sold 7 days worth of bedding plants in just 2 days. Plants must be the new loo roll! Check out my extra photo for another cute coot.
