Featherlight
Yet another hot and sunny day, the Met Office reported that May was the sunniest calendar month on record and Spring was the sunniest on record. This morning I put some window film on two of the four mirrored wardrobe doors in the spare room to break it up a bit. I had enough left over to put it on the patio doors in the lounge as well to hopefully reduce the u/v and heat I get in the summer which makes the bungalow very hot (I can easily remove it when not needed).
Day 78 / Day 70 of Lockdown / Day 1 of Step 2 (for my record only)
UK deaths up 556 to 39,045 (reported as only up 111 in the briefing, per SKY the difference is how deaths are incorporated into historic data retrospectively). Spain reported no CV deaths today. In Italy the head of a hospital in Lombardy is reporting the virus has become less lethal with patients showing a lower viral load.
The Test & Trace system is being reported by the Govt as operating well, with reports of tracers having nothing to do being due to the lower no. of cases and contacts than modelled (no numbers provided on T&T). Some kids started back at school today and people can meet up with up to 5 other people now.
