Surprise!!

Today I have had my day, if not my week (I know, bold statement for a Monday!) made by GuernseyGirl , otherwise known as Karen. I came home to find a package had arrived from Guernsey where Karen is busy making wooden discs, and painted pebbles, to raise money to Maison L' Aumône where her Mum lives. Her aim is to raise enough money to give each resident a much deserved treat.

I couldn't resist asking if it would be possible to purchase two of the discs as a surprise for my Mum, and Dad, and my sister. I could not believe my eyes when I opened the parcel to see the attention to detail on the discs. I love the little sunshine on the one for my Mum, and Dad, and the way Karen has included Polly on the one for my sister, without me saying anything about doing so, is just amazing!

Further excitement came when I saw another disc...for me...and Po! Absolutely incredible and so kind too. Thank you. :-D

The best kind of gifts come from the heart and I really feel this gift was one of those.

Also, surprise Mum and Jen, I know they'll both look at my blip. I can't wait for you to have them in your homes. :-)
