Eider Families
I was out early (5.30) and cycled to the Head of Work, the uneuphoniously named headland between Carness and Head of Holland. A hedgehog was near my door as I left and I saw about 14 brown hares on my way too (see extras). Apart from the ducks, the head evidently had breeding curlew, oystercatcher, redshank and snipe. The stars were a pair of dark morph Arctic skua which looked like they were on a territory.
