Remnants of Autumn

First official day of winter. Awoke to a foggy morning with smokey-looking mist rising from the lake. It had dissipated before I got my camera ready. 
Back to Christchurch today, busy on the roads as everyone heads home after the long weekend. The businesses will hopefully have done well over the last few days - it has been hard during lock down. But we have now had no Covid cases in NZ for 10 days in a row. The challenge is to keep it under control.
