I'm a massive baby and suffer from terribly vivid and regular nightmares. I've tried all sorts of things to help with it such as cutting down on cheese, not eating after 6pm, putting my phone away at bedtime (not so great at that one to be fair). I've never had trouble falling or staying asleep, actually pretty good at getting to sleep, but I usually wake up in the morning having been plagued by a horrible nightmare and it can set up your mood for the first half of the day at least.

A couple of months ago stumbled across an article about essential oils and diffusers, and some armoas can aid restful sleep. Its been niggling away at me to give it a try since I've read it. I thought, if I've tried everything else, may as well give it a whirl!

Now, there's every chance it was a placebo effect... But I blasted some subtle lavender in my room last night and had such a peaceful sleep! I really have woken up the most refreshed I've felt in months.

Long story short, if you are like me and have trouble with sleep... Give this a try!
