Sunday .............

 ............. in the garden.

Not relaxing but trying to get some order restored.
With the ongoing medical issues for Himself, stand-up digging is out, grass cutting is out, anything needing balance is out ........ I have been digging, grass cutting, shrub and tree-pruning, transplanting, planting etc etc etc.
His forte is handfork digging and he's a master weeder - anything that can be done sitting on the ground (getting down there and up again is a bit like a circus act though!!!!)

By UK standards, for a regular house, the plot is a good size so there is still more to do but we are getting there - when all the regular stuff is done.   I am currently hand weeding the 19' x 31' (6 x 9.5 mtr) gravel drive - my nails are suffering as are my back and finger joints!!!

WHEN all the drive, grass and borders stuff is done we have the pond and rockery to tackle  -  deep joy!  I suspect there is going to be a pump, waders and lots of stinky silty sludge in play for that.  Luvverly!

Anyhoooo ............. I didn't cut back the fuchsia this year and it has rewarded us with a fabulous second display of flowers ....... 

Onward and upward and another day of bending double for me!!!  Yay!
It will all be worth it eventually.

A man walks into a chemist and asks for an anal deodorant.  
The chemist says they have never stocked such a thing.  
The man insists he bought one from this particular shop so the chemist asks him to bring in the one he has and he will try to match the purchase.
The man returns the next day with the deodorant stick and shows it to the chemist.
