Osteospermum (African Daisies)
They are coming on lovely.
Busy day, very hot again with the occasional light breeze, dogs walked early, then washing done, spent most of day in garden doing various jobs and deciding which shrubs to cut back later. we moved the bay tree that is in a huge pot, dug a hole to put the pot so far to steady it so it won't blow over when it's windy. put some sunflowers in the front garden, hope they grow tall as they will look great against the fence.
Then cooked a big Sunday Dinner with roast beef and roast potatoes and vegs followed by rhubarb pie and custard. I was tired out by the time I had finished and full of food too.
Sounds like the Yorkshire Dales and Moors plus the Lakes were heaving again with people this weekend and not social distancing either by the sounds of it. I have also noticed less people are avoiding each other than before when we would all step to one side and leave a safe distance, I have more than once had to nearly walk in the road or push right up against the wall. Fools they think they are invincible but they may find they are not.
Nice to hear the space rocket has reached the ISS safely, I missed the launch last night but saw it on the news today. Looked for both the ISS and the rocket last night passing but I think we were too low down, may have been better up on a hill. some people nearby saw it.
That's it for now folks, sleep tight and stay safe.
