At Long Last

Unlike top political advisers I have taken the guidelines very seriously these past weeks and have kept away from local hills.
I was up early this morning to beat the heat and took Caley up Bohuntin Hill. The criteria for abstaining was not on the grounds of distance from home but the risk, however small, of requiring mountain rescue services. I can walk to BH from my door but it is more convenient by car.
It was just Caley and I. This morning he sensed something special was going on and excitement prevented him eating his breakfast. Had it been a longer walk I would have had to carry it in the rucksack.
