Socialising

Quite a social day today.  We had the regular family Zoom Sunday quiz this lunchtime.  We came a respectable last as usual.  Later Tom and Rachel popped round with coffee and the Observer for a garden chat.  That was very nice.

Yesterday I mentioned the dragon flies by the local brook,  today I took my camera with the aim of dragon catching.  Although I saw a few, they were mainly on the wing and when they did rest it was not anywhere accessible with the long lens.  Still, I took one or two other pics and one of those will have to do!  

Apparently as a 'shielded' individual I'm allowed out from tomorrow.   Anyone reading my blog will know I have been, very carefully, going out of the house most days, if only for my statutory walk.  My excuse is that I'm pretty sure I'm in the second tier of vulnerability and have not needed any of the available resources, so I just stay alert.
