10+50

It's been a long time between drinks on Blip for me. A short break turned into a 6-year hiatus. Life has been a bit of a roller-coaster in between, with a succession of new jobs and new countries, and a new wife and new daughter to boot. Today I turned 10 + 50. The number 10 is significant because that was the number on my shirt when I played the beautiful game ( ... I still miss it). And the + 50 = the three score years I have now accumulated on this increasingly troubled planet of ours. This masterpiece of a birthday cake was commissioned by Mrs Dubb, the love of my life, who also managed to include reference to my (not quite equally) beloved Aston Villa.
