I overheard this explanation by a parent to his small child as I walked through East Greenwich Pleasaunce.

I did a solo long walk down to the bike shop on Creek Road in Greenwich, but it didn't have either of the items I was looking to buy. I am fixing up a flat-bar bike for some local commuting, so wanted some new pedals - combining SPD clips and normal cages - and some security skewers to replace the quick release levers on the wheels. Still, at least I was able to buy yet more beer, this time a couple of bottles from Up The Creek.
