Dan's day

It was Dan's birthday yesterday but we only saw him briefly on his way to play golf with his big brother. Today we had arranged for him and Lotty to have a birthday takeaway from the local Italian, eaten in our garden in Mediterranean like weather. Dan has always been lucky with the weather on his birthday, we couldn't remember a year that hadn't been warm and sunny. The difference this year was we ate on separate patio tables.

I made him a birthday card and included the photo in extra as a reminder of when he could have a drink with his mates on his birthday. It was his 12th birthday and it is nice that they are all still good friends.
