First Rose of Summer

My new rose bed was badly infected by horrible black spot last year. I carefully removed all the affected foliage and mulched and fed throughout the spring. I cut them all back severely as they were quite spindly and then I just waited anxiously. All twelve roses have lovely glossy foliage and are full of buds and this one is the first to open fully. It’s called Golden Celebrations.
