A very slow day

After my excesses of last night I had pencilled in a long lie this morning. Unfortunately my neighbour had other ideas and was out mowing his lawn before 9.

It was a lovely morning and after breakfast nipped up into the high street to pick up some lemon sole from the fish van for dinner.

It’s been a quiet day and the only photo I have is of the sprinkler on the front grass - couldn’t quite manage to capture the rainbows.

Just had a lovely chat with our son and his girlfriend - they’re looking well. Hopefully we will be able to see them in person in the hear future.
