New life.

What I did not know when I reached this pond this morning was that the pen had three more babies under her left wing. She had six eggs, they have all hatched since yesterday afternoon. I hope to see them on their Mum's back tomorrow. 
This nest is on a very pretty and peaceful pond in Home Park - it is tucked away in a corner and not too well known.
The other swan family have ceased to use their nest and I was amused to see that a Mallard and her ducklings have taken up residence there - see my extra photo.
