Kelly Hall Tarn

We drove to Kelly Hall Tarn for a picnic to celebrate my birthday.  It was busy on the drive there and lots of people were swimming in Coniston Water (brave souls).  But, here at KHT we had the place to ourselves.  Pretty much deserted, apart from a few walkers in the distance.

We stayed for a few hours enjoying the sounds and the colours and cloudless sky.

Zoomed with Not 1 and 2 son this evening.  It felt strange not to be able to see them in the flesh today.
