Today's the day ……………………………… to sizzle

Phew - a very hot day, right from the start.  Too hot to be doing anything in the garden but keeping cool in the shade.  But, because we are having some VIPs over to visit tomorrow - we wanted everything to be looking ship-shape. 

In common with most people, we haven't seen our Moniaive family (apart from on videos etc) since the start of the Lockdown, so you can imagine how excited we are!  We'll be trying our best to keep to the rules and there's no doubt, it's going to be a bit odd - but it will just be so lovely to see them.  We're planning a barbeque - and we'll just take things easy.

Meanwhile (see extra), someone was flying away somewhere last night into the sunset ……………………..
