sorry

I stopped drinking alcohol a few years ago for health reasons.  Most of the time I don't miss it - but sometimes, when it's a sunny afternoon and Anniemay is nibbling some nuts, I can see the attraction of a wee glass of something fizzy. 

We're in an M&S food shop in our local petrol station, when I spot this.  Fizzy wine in a can.  Who'd have thought it?  

Now it has been drawn to my attention that there will be wine purists spluttering into their crystal as they read this.  The truth is, I bought it simply because it looked pretty and I thought it would make an interesting blip.  

I made sure that we went straight to the petrol station, not stopping off for an eye test first.  Although if I had, I might have spotted that it was something that could cause offence to those trying to stick to the social guidelines of not buying wine or bunches of flowers in garages.

That being the case, I will donate it to Anniemay as she already has a bowl of nuts.  
And of course I will say sorry.
