Hadrian's Wall

A picnic at Hadrian's Wall for our wedding anniversary! It was a bit blustery which it often is out here in this rugged and dramatic landscape (see extras).

At Cawfield's Quarry, in this main blip, Hadrian's Wall hangs onto the edge of the sheer crags of the Whin Sill.

I received a beautiful delivery of roses and lillies from hubby. Good old M&S.
