Poppy
Another early morning walk and I found a load of poppies growing along the edges of a cropped field. This shot was processed entirely in Lightroom to achieve the darker background. The poppy stood out, colour wise, from the background so I used a range mask with the adjustment brush - and selected all the colours in the background. Then reduced the exposure, leaving the flower unaffected. First time I have tried this.
Morning spent updating Mrs madwill’s website with all the fabric I counted yesterday…
An 'after lunch' nap… not entirely unrelated to the tedium of updating stock. :-)
We are working on the logistics of a family ‘gathering’ in our garden next week some time - daughter, her husband and family have all been self isolating since little one had a raised temperature about 10 days ago - no one has developed any COVID19 symptoms, and we haven’t been anywhere except to take our walks - so we think the risk of infection is very low, especially if we do it before daughter goes back to work. The layout of our house means that they can access the downstairs toilet by entering through the back door/utility room. We can use the use the upstairs loo by coming in through the patio door. We can then sanitise two small rooms after they have gone…
