Thirlmere from Great How

We'd spotted this lone Birkett at the end of Thirlmere, but needed a longer walk than the three miles it offered, so started the day with a walk round Grasmere, then drove to Thirlmere and went up Great How. The views along Thirlmere were amazing, though it was surprisingly overcast (we aren't used to seeing clouds at the moment, and the weekend looks like it's going to be hot and sunny.
