Winter colour
To be honest, there's not much colour in our garden at this time of year. My dad wasn't a heather/conifer fan so we rely on the beech hedges to supply a warm tone.
I am extremely fond of beech leaves, not so much in the summer but at any other time they are fascinating. Spring brings all the lime green hairiness, autumn/winter brings the most fabulous burnished shapes. Like this one.
It is entirely possible that a cup cake will feature in tomorrow's blip. I'm doing a dummy run on a cup cake party for four very excited little girls. We have edible glitter, sugar stars, sugar hearts, sugar strands, edible metallic paint, jelly tots and mini marsh mallows. What could possibly go wrong??
