Prince Samuel is the only creature I know who has a worse time with the heat than I do. He's had a rough time acclimating to summer ever since he was about two. 

This week Karen had the bright idea of pouring water on him before we go for a walk so the evaporation would cool him. No he doesn't like it, but I do think it helps, as does walking in the woods because woods are cooler. 

That said, I've taken to walking in the woods without him since he is so reluctant. I walked this morning and it helped, I walked this evening and I got to see my boyfriend, pictured. I love seeing deer reaching high up into the trees to get some food. And tookie is right, there will be many more walks needed.
