Meeting the Locals

After far too long a gap is was really good to get back to Shetland this afternoon. As I got to the house the sun was shining, there was snow on the ground and I could hear curlew calling.

I gather the fall of snow came as something of a surprise this morning - and the first flight of the day was turned away to Kirkwall until the runways could be cleared.
