Lazy Wednesday Afternoon

It was supposed to shower this afternoon, but it didn't. Another 83°F day, so any outside jobs had to be done early morning. Great for photography though. Sunlight filtered through the cloud giving a bright white directional light which produced soft shadows on the rocks and brought out their texture.

I feel the proportions I selected are too balanced. The rocks and water occupy similar proportions of the frame and so neither one dominates. Perhaps I could crop to a 5x4 and reduce the water area, because I think it was really the light on the rocks that interested me.
